Follow Spain Immigration and focus on Spanish economic hotspots: Under normal climatic conditions, Spain produces approximately 33,000 tons of honey annually, of which 16,000 tons are exported. To meet the domestic market demand of 32,000 tons per year, Spain still needs to import a portion of its honey.

Chinese honey producers are gradually capturing the Spanish market through low-price competition.
Currently, China has gradually occupied the Spanish market by playing the low-price card.
In 2007, China's honey exports to Spain accounted for 27% of the country's total honey imports, approximately 3,200 tons. By 2011, this figure climbed to 62.7%, surpassing Argentina to become the country's largest honey importer.
The price of domestically produced Spanish honey is generally between 2.8 and 3 euros per kilogram, while the price of Chinese honey is only 1.26 euros per kilogram.
