Immigration to Cyprus focuses onLife in Cyprus: On April 27, the International Shooting Sport Federation World Cup in Shooting kicked off in Cyprus. In the women's double trap event, Chinese athlete Xu Min performed exceptionally well, winning a silver medal and helping the Chinese shooting team secure their third "ticket" to the Rio Olympics.

In the qualification round that day, Xu Min showed excellent form, ranking first with a score of 72, advancing to the semifinals. In the semifinals, Italian veteran Diana hit all targets and progressed first to the gold medal match. Xu Min and Thailand’s Sutiya both hit 15 targets; after an intense shoot-off, the Chinese shooter advanced with just one hit. In the final phase, Diana continued her strong performance, missing only one shot out of 16, while Xu Min had three misses, ultimately resulting in the Italian winning the gold medal and Xu Min finishing as the runner-up.
According to the rules, each event in this competition grants two spots for the Rio Olympics, thus Xu Min helped the Chinese shooting team secure a valuable "ticket." However, the situation remains serious for the Chinese team as they have only three Olympic spots in hand, specifically in women’s double trap and men’s double trap, while each country can have up to ten Olympic spots across five shooting events.
