Portugal Property Investment Immigration Learn about life in Portugal: According to Portuguese media reports, the international travel guide portal Ucityguide recently named Portugal one of the ten most scenic tourist countries. In this ranking, Portugal placed 6th.

The travel guide points out that the "natural wonders of the Azores volcanic islands in Portugal" are enough to prove that the rating Portugal received is well-deserved. Other highlights include the island of Madeira, which is like a "floating garden," the magnificent "impressive" Atlantic coastline, and the "mysterious" headlands of the mainland. In addition to these attractions, the website also mentions the Alentejo plains, medieval villages (such as Marvão or Monsaraz), and the Peneda-Gerês National Park.
Portugal currently has a population of approximately 10.6 million and a land area of 92,000 square kilometers. Since joining the European Union in 1986, Portugal has accelerated its urbanization and modernization. Coupled with political stability, a beautiful natural environment, a pleasant climate, relatively affordable property prices, and strong foreign direct investment, property purchases in Portugal have increased. Construction of residential units accelerated starting in the 1990s. In 1998 and 2004, Portugal hosted the World Expo and the European Football Championship, respectively. The government invested significant funds into infrastructure, during which the real estate industry benefited from a booming market. However, compared to other EU member states, due to the government's conservative policies, the rise in Portuguese property prices has been quite stable and is even considered undervalued.
