As various European countries introduce different immigration policies to attract investors, Cyprus is also making its mark. Currently, Cyprus immigration has become a shortcut to immigrating to the European Union, and the first thing to understand are some lifestyle habits of the Cypriots to adapt to the new environment.

In terms of diet, Cypriots daily consume black bread, olives, and yogurt, sometimes accompanied by cheese, tomatoes, and cucumbers. The main condiments are olive oil and spices, and meat is typically eaten only on Sundays, holidays, and during banquets. A special name for the banquet is 'Mazee', which includes twenty to thirty dishes. Wine and coffee are commonly consumed beverages in Cyprus.
In daily life, the most important and popular arts in Cyprus are music and dance, with many songs retaining original forms from ancient Greece. At wedding dances, the men display lively and powerful movements, while the women perform with gentle and delicate gestures. Turkish dances are more common, with the 'Karsilamas' dance being widely known. Both the steps and movements reflect the style of Turkish dance. However, in narrative poetry dances, there is also a strong Greek influence.
Living in Cyprus, large cities have numerous modern residences, while rural areas still feature traditional homes. The architecture in the countryside has seen little change compared to late Neolithic residences. Houses are typically built with adobe, stones, and ordinary timber, most often with flat roofs for drying agricultural products and sleeping. A typical house usually has three rooms, one for living, one for storage, and another for raising livestock. There is a courtyard with a well, a bee-hive shaped outdoor oven, and an outdoor toilet. Lemon trees surround the yard, and fields are not far from the house, making the farmhouse especially quiet and beautiful.
Immigrating to Cyprus allows individuals to enjoy high-quality education in Europe as well as a pastoral lifestyle, making it an appealing option for those seeking to relax from the high-pressure life at home.
