The Moni Agias Triados (Holy Trinity Monastery) is the farthest to reach. However, the scenery here is quite unusual, having appeared in the 1981 film 007 "For Your Eyes Only".
Tip:
If you drive, you can visit all the monasteries in one day, but if you choose to walk, you can visit about 2 to 3 monasteries in a day.
The entrance fee for each monastery is 2 euros. Dress code: men must wear long pants, and women must cover their knees.
Outdoor Activities:
In recent years, Meteora has become a favorite among European rock climbers, with climbers of all skill levels able to choose from over 100 peaks. There are more than 700 climbing routes in total.
