Follow US EB-5 Immigration and Life in the US: 79-year-old Shepard from the United States has 5 children, 12 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. However, he left his entire estate to his two beloved cats.

Shepard, from Memphis, Tennessee, passed away in December 2012. Before his death, he decided to leave his $250,000 estate and a 4,270-square-foot house to his two cats to ensure they could continue their previous lifestyle.
In his will, Shepard stated that after the older cat, named Friskie, passes away, his children may inherit his property, provided they take care of the other cat, Jack.
Shepard's neighbors confirmed to WMCTV that he truly loved his pets. Shepard served as the president of the local United Food and Commercial Workers Union for 40 years. His relatives declined to comment on the matter.
