'Trump's Tariff Policy and Chinese Enterprises Going to the United States'

The Path to Breaking Through Ignited the Audience and Sparked Enthusiastic Responses

As a special guest of the conference, Dr. Niu Zhiwen, Chairman of the US-China Economic and Cultural Association, delivered a heavyweight speech themed 'Trump's Tariff Policy and Chinese Enterprises Going to the United States,' emphasizing that in the face of a volatile international situation, Chinese enterprises must rethink how to 'go global' from four dimensions: strategy, policy, operations, and regional selection. Dr. Niu provided an in-depth analysis of the current complex trade environment, hit the core challenges of industrial cultivation and globalization integration, and provided highly actionable solutions for Chinese enterprises already developing in the U.S. or planning to enter the U.S. market, sparking enthusiastic responses and high praise from the audience. Dr. Niu Zhiwen focused on key issues and pointed out the direction for Chinese enterprises seeking development in a complex international economic and trade environment. First, regarding 'going global' policies, he systematically interpreted the core points of Trump's tariff policy and the key contents of his tax reform policy, analyzing their specific impact on Chinese enterprises and product exports to the U.S. market; second, regarding 'going global' strategy guides, he elaborated in detail on effective strategies for Chinese enterprises to successfully enter the U.S. market, and focused on how to legally and compliantly obtain U.S. tax incentives to reduce the costs of going global. Examples include R&D tax credits at the federal level, green energy incentives, export tax rebates, as well as investment subsidies and employment incentives provided by various state governments; regarding regional selection for going global, he deeply promoted North Carolina as an advantageous location for Chinese enterprises to invest in the U.S., including its superior business environment, industrial resources, and the service and support system provided by the local government. Dr. Niu Zhiwen emphasized that North Carolina has highly competitive tax policies, with corporate income tax at the lowest level in the U.S., and overall business costs are significantly lower than in large cities on the East and West Coasts.

Finally, Dr. Niu proposed the concept of 'professional institution linkage and empowerment.' Regarding integrated services for Chinese enterprises in North Carolina, including government-enterprise relations, finance, taxation, and immigration status, he introduced the service content of the US-China Economic and Cultural Association, including organizing exchange activities between Chinese and American enterprises, promoting business cooperation between the two sides, providing matchmaking services, and helping enterprises expand their business. Dr. Niu Zhiwen stated, 'Although the trade environment between China and the U.S. is full of uncertainty, challenges also breed opportunities for transformation and growth. Only by systematically planning, actively adapting, and operating in compliance can Chinese enterprises go further and more steadily in the tide of globalization.' North Carolina is the best starting point for Chinese enterprises to embrace the U.S. market and achieve high-quality international expansion.

Dr. Niu Zhiwen's brilliant speech, with its profound insights, practical guidance, and forward-looking vision, resonated strongly with all attendees, injecting confidence and momentum for Chinese enterprises to cope with international economic and trade changes and explore the U.S. market. The participating entrepreneurs expressed that they were deeply inspired and praised the content as 'extremely valuable,' receiving rave reviews.
