The U.S. Department of State's Visa Office has officially announced: May 2025 marks the eighth month of the new fiscal year 2025 for immigrant visas under the U.S. investment immigration EB-5 visa bulletin. This month, there are no changes to the A and B visa wait times, and under the new legislation, reserved EB-5 visas still have no wait time. The B visa has been suspended.
Latest results show that the A visa remains unchanged, with direct investment projects C5 and T5 categories consistent with the non-visa reserved categories of regional center projects, I5 and R5, remaining at January 22, 2014. The B visa remains unchanged, with direct investment projects C5 and T5 categories consistent with the non-visa reserved categories of regional center projects, I5 and R5, remaining at October 1, 2016. It is worth noting that the three categories of reserved visa projects under the new EB-5 policy (rural areas, high unemployment areas, infrastructure) still have no wait time status.
A visa: Final Action Dates For Employment-Based Preference Cases
(Note: U.S. consulate interviews & USCIS submission of AOS status change applications)
B visa: Dates For Filing Of Employment-Based Visa Applications
(Note: Legally residing in the U.S. and meeting relevant conditions, submit AOS status change applications to USCIS)
Additionally, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has officially announced the suspension of the May 2025 B visa.
According to the May visa bulletin, the reserved category for EB-5 visas for investors born in mainland China still has no wait time. Worldway reminds investors to act quickly to secure reserved visa quotas in advance and take advantage of the "fast track" for immigration to the U.S.!
The United States EB-5 investment immigration has implemented new policies, allowing applicants to submit a "dual submission" in the U.S., meaning applicants without wait time can simultaneously submit I-526E immigration applications and I-485 adjustment of status applications, and can also apply for travel permission I-131 and work permission I-765, also known as the "small green card." Approval of the travel permission I-131 application allows for legal and free entry and exit from the U.S. Approval of the work permission I-765 application allows for legal and free choice of employment.
Foreign students studying in the U.S., foreign nationals working in the U.S., individuals holding other valid legal non-immigrant visas in the U.S., parents accompanying students in the U.S., and "overage" children applying for investment immigration with their parents can all engage in "dual submission" in the U.S., thus facilitating a quicker transition to living and working in the United States.
Currently, the popular premium EB-5 project on the market—"Aspen ▪ Kodiak Apartments", has obtained both I-956F and I-526E approvals.
