On November 29, the National Immigration Administration issued the "Announcement on Implementing the 'Multiple-Entry' and 'One-Trip-Per-Week' Policies for Travel to Hong Kong and Macau in Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Guangdong Province."

After nearly a decade, the "multiple-entry" policy is back!
With the approval of the State Council, the Exit-Entry Administration of the People's Republic of China has decided to implement the "multiple-entry" policy for travel to Hong Kong in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province; the "one-trip-per-week" policy for travel to Macau in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province; and the "multiple-entry" policy for travel to Macau in the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone.
Effective December 1, 2024, residents of Shenzhen and holders of Shenzhen residence permits may apply for the "multiple-entry" endorsement for travel to Hong Kong. This allows for unlimited visits to Hong Kong within one year, with each stay not exceeding seven days. Applications for the relevant endorsement can be submitted at the manual counters of local public security exit-entry management agencies or via self-service kiosks.
As a melting pot of Eastern and Western cultures, Hong Kong is a highly prosperous global free port, an international metropolis, and the world's third-largest financial center. Hong Kong boasts world-leading economic freedom, a stable financial system, a sound legal framework, and low tax rates. Furthermore, its proximity to the Mainland in terms of culture and language, combined with its unique geographical advantages and acclaimed medical and educational standards, attracts numerous individuals from both within and outside the region to relocate every year.
If you are interested in obtaining Hong Kong residency, you can apply through two popular pathways: the New Capital Investment Entrant Scheme and the Top Talent Pass Scheme. The 2024 Hong Kong Policy Address announced the relaxation of the investment immigration scheme, allowing for residential property investments effective immediately. The Top Talent Pass Scheme has added nine additional Mainland universities, and Class A applicants can now have their initial visa extended to three years. Seize the policy opportunity—now is the perfect time to apply for Hong Kong residency!
The New Capital Investment Entrant Scheme has no scoring requirements, no quota restrictions, no academic qualifications required, and no residency requirements. Once approved, applicants can freely work or start businesses in Hong Kong. One application benefits the whole family. With an investment starting from HKD 30 million, your entire family can quickly obtain Hong Kong residency.
The Top Talent Pass Scheme requires no investment, no prior job offer from an employer, no asset requirements, and no scoring requirements. One person applies, and their spouse and unmarried minor children can accompany them, allowing for free movement in and out of Hong Kong.
Eligible applicants are encouraged to act quickly; apply early to enjoy the benefits sooner!
