Modern Financial Industry Top Talent Scheme
The application period for the Modern Financial Industry Top Talent Scheme is from October 6, 2023, to February 5, 2024. The program aims to attract individuals who can promote the development of the modern financial industry, possess professional experience and technical capabilities, and have demonstrated outstanding performance in the following professional areas:
① Bond market business development
② Wealth management business development
③ Sustainable finance business development
④ Commercial banking business development
⑤ Insurance business development
⑥ FinTech application development
⑦ Financial research
Applicants must meet the following requirements simultaneously:
• Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field of the financial industry and have at least four years of work experience in the aforementioned professional areas, OR possess a bachelor's degree or higher in other fields and have at least six years of work experience in the aforementioned professional areas, OR possess a bachelor's degree or higher in other fields, hold professional qualifications relevant to the financial industry, and have at least four years of work experience in the aforementioned professional areas;
• Be at least 21 years old;
• Possess good proficiency in expressing oneself in either Chinese, Portuguese, or English;
• Score 200 points out of a total of 300 points according to the scoring table prescribed by the program.
Modern Financial Industry Senior Professional Talent Scheme
The application period for the Modern Financial Industry Senior Professional Talent Scheme is from October 6, 2023, to February 5, 2024. The program aims to attract individuals who can support the development of the modern financial industry and possess professional experience and technical capabilities in the following professional areas:
① Bond market business development
② Wealth management business development
③ Sustainable finance business development
④ Commercial banking business development
⑤ Insurance business development
⑥ FinTech application development
⑦ Financial research
Applicants must meet the following requirements simultaneously:
• Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field of the financial industry and have at least four years of work experience in the aforementioned professional areas, OR possess a bachelor's degree or higher in other fields and have at least six years of work experience in the aforementioned professional areas, OR possess a bachelor's degree or higher in other fields, hold professional qualifications relevant to the financial industry, and have at least four years of work experience in the aforementioned professional areas;
• Be at least 21 years old;
• Possess good proficiency in expressing oneself in either Chinese, Portuguese, or English;
• Score 150 points out of a total of 300 points according to the scoring table prescribed by the program;
• Be employed by a local employer, or have a commitment to be employed within 90 days from the date the residence permit decision takes effect, and must perform a professional role that meets the shortage of human resources listed in the program; the annual salary for the professional position must reach MOP 600,000, calculated as total annual pre-tax remuneration, regardless of the name, form, or calculation method of the payment.
