2023 QS Subject Ranking Criteria
Due to significant differences between disciplines, this comprehensive ranking uses different weightings for evaluation indicators across various subjects. The 2023 QS World University Rankings by Subject consist of five indicators: Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Citations per Paper, H-Index, and International Research Network (IRN) Index.
Academic Reputation: Professional scholars from the global academic community list the institutions they consider excellent in their specific fields of research. This score reflects a university's influence within the global academic community.
Employer Reputation: This data is derived from graduate employers, who identify institutions and corresponding subjects they believe perform exceptionally well in graduate recruitment. This serves as an important reference for the future employment prospects of a specific school or major.
Citations per Paper: This data is sourced from the abstract database Scopus. By understanding citation patterns, we can assess the academic strength and recognition of a school's research output in a specific field.
H-Index: This is a method for measuring the productivity and impact of published work by scientists or scholars. It allows us to see the research efficiency of a school or department and its attitude toward and support for research.
International Research Network (IRN) Index: This is an indicator introduced for the first time in the broader faculty area tables. It aims to assess the ability of universities to diversify the geography of their international research networks by establishing sustainable research partnerships with other higher education institutions.

Overall, U.S. universities continue to rank at the forefront. As is well known, the standard of education in the United States has always been praised worldwide, and it is a global leader in higher education. The U.S. possesses abundant educational resources, a comprehensive education system, and advanced educational philosophies, among many other advantages, attracting countless Chinese families and students. Today, "Educational planning, status first" has become an important option for many parents when planning their children's future growth path! A U.S. Green Card gives children more choices. With a U.S. Green Card, children enjoy the same 90%-95% admission quota as domestic students; in terms of costs, students holding a Green Card can enjoy the same tuition fees as domestic students, which is only one-third of that for international students. In short, Green Card status plays a pivotal role in every aspect of a child's school selection, internships, and job hunting.
Educational planning, status first. Currently, the U.S. EB-5 investment immigration program is an effective way to obtain a U.S. Green Card relatively quickly. The application requirements are flexible, with no restrictions on age, education, language, business, or work experience background. With an investment starting from $800,000, the whole family can immigrate to the United States, live and work anywhere in the U.S., and children can enjoy free public education (K12). Spouses and unmarried children under 21 can immigrate together.
Investors with clear needs for immigrating to the U.S. and planning their children's education should act quickly to complete their immigration applications as soon as possible! Currently, the "Florida Lakeside Jewish Community" EB-5 project, for which Worldway Group serves as the exclusive agent in the Greater China region, is a project that complies with the rural area (TEA) requirements under the new act. It enjoys EB-5 visa set-asides and combines many advantages such as no visa backlog, priority processing, a project employment multiplier as high as 5.44, first-priority mortgage guarantee for EB-5 funds, and an investment starting from only $800,000. It is an excellent choice to help investors immigrate to the U.S. quickly!
