For Table B, the direct investment categories C5 and T5, as well as the non-reserved categories I5 and R5 for regional center projects, have all advanced by one week to January 1, 2016. This advancement marks the first time in the past year that the priority dates have moved forward.

Table B: Dates For Filing Of Employment-Based Visa Applications
(Note: For those legally residing in the U.S. who meet the relevant conditions, filing an I-485 Adjustment of Status application with USCIS)

For the non-reserved categories of EB-5 regional center projects, the priority date for applicants born in mainland China is December 22, 2015. Investors who have received I-526 approval and have a priority date earlier than December 22, 2015, may proceed to the final consular interview stage at the U.S. Consulate General in Guangzhou or file an I-485 Adjustment of Status application in the United States. For investors who have received I-526 approval and have a priority date between December 22, 2015, and January 1, 2016, it is recommended to pay fees and submit Form DS-260 and supporting documents to the NVC as soon as possible to obtain a documentarily qualified letter. The NVC visa teams within the document and customer service departments of Worldway Group will continue to initiate client screening, contact relevant law firms, submit NVC visa applications for eligible applicants, and provide interview coaching as always.
In addition, it is worth noting that as of the date of this publication, USCIS is not accepting Table B for Employment-Based Preference Filings in September. Please refer to the official website for subsequent updates.

Furthermore, according to the September Visa Bulletin, the EB-5 reserved categories remain current with no backlog. For investors, the current High Unemployment Area (TEA) projects enjoy reserved visa quotas and are in a non-backlogged state, which will help investors immigrate to the United States quickly. Investors should take immediate action to lock in the reserved visa quota and catch the first bus to avoid the backlog!
By convention, there are approximately 10,000 green card quotas for EB-5 annually, with 10% reserved for High Unemployment Area (TEA) projects, meaning 1,000 quotas are available each year. For EB-5 investors planning a quick move to the U.S., seizing the non-backlogged spots means seizing the opportunity for success!
There are two key elements to immigration—timing and choice! When immigrating to the U.S. through the EB-5 investment immigration program, choosing the right project is critical. Currently, the two popular EB-5 projects on the market are both EB-5 projects that comply with the new act's High Unemployment Area (TEA) requirements, enjoying a 10% visa reservation quota, helping investors catch the "first bus" to avoid the backlog and quickly obtain a U.S. green card! With an investment starting from $800,000, one person can apply, and the whole family can quickly immigrate to the United States.
