The U.S. Department of State Visa Office has officially released the Visa Bulletin for May 2022, the eighth month of the 2022 fiscal year, for the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. The latest results show that the final action date for the EB-5 Regional Center category (Chart A) is November 22, 2015, while the date for filing (Chart B) remains at December 15, 2015.
Furthermore, USCIS has officially announced that it will accept Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, based on Chart B for the month of May. At the same time, Worldway Group investors have successively received EB-5 immigrant visa interview notices from the U.S. Consulate General in Guangzhou, which is excellent news. Chart A: Final Action Dates For Employment-Based Preference Cases

According to Chart A:
For the EB-5 Regional Center category, the priority date for applicants born in mainland China is November 22, 2015. Investors who have received I-526 approval and have a priority date earlier than November 22, 2015, may proceed to the final interview stage at the U.S. Consulate General in Guangzhou or file an I-485 adjustment of status application within the United States. The documentation and customer service teams at Worldway Group, in conjunction with the North American Customer Service Department, will continue to initiate client screening, contact relevant law firms, submit NVC visa applications for eligible applicants, and provide interview coaching as always.
l New members in the visa bulletin: EB-5 visa set-aside categories (20% for rural projects, 10% for high unemployment area projects, and 2% for infrastructure projects) are currently current with no backlog.
Chart B: Dates For Filing Of Employment-Based Visa Applications

According to Chart B:
The priority date for the EB-5 Regional Center category remains unchanged at December 15, 2015. There is currently no backlog for the EB-5 visa set-aside categories. Meanwhile, USCIS has officially announced that it will accept I-485 adjustment of status applications based on Chart B in May. To this end, the documentation and customer service teams at Worldway Group, in conjunction with the North American Customer Service Department, will continue to initiate client screening, contact relevant law firms, and assist eligible applicants in quickly preparing and filing their I-485 adjustment of status applications.
In addition, USCIS recently issued an announcement resuming the adjudication of Form I-526 and continuing the adjudication of Form I-829. This is great news for EB-5 investors.
Currently, the reauthorization of the EB-5 Regional Center Program has achieved a phased victory and will continue in a brand-new form until September 30, 2027, securing a long period of policy stability for the EB-5 industry and investors. The act grants a 60-day window for the new EB-5 Regional Center Program, and government agencies such as USCIS will issue relevant implementation policies to put the new act into effect.
