This benefit will benefit approximately 1.6 million families and 2.1 million children under the age of 6. The first installment was issued on May 28, which included the January and April payments. The final two installments will be issued on July 30 and October 29. This also means that each child under 6 will receive 6,833 CAD + 1,200 CAD, for a total of 8,033 CAD in benefits this year!
