China and North Macedonia have established diplomatic relations for a long time, and China is North Macedonia's fourth largest trading partner. Chinese citizens holding long-term or permanent residence permits and student, business, or work visas from EU or Schengen countries, as well as Type A, B transit visas and Type C single or double-entry visas from Schengen countries, must also apply for a North Macedonia visa to enter North Macedonia if they do not possess the visas mentioned in point 3.
