1. Definition of Canadian Visiting Scholar Visa
A Canadian Visiting Scholar refers to individuals with a certain academic background, scientific research capabilities, and work experience who come to Canadian universities for short-term training and study in their professional fields. The purpose is for the visiting scholar to acquire new knowledge, broaden their horizons, and gain new insights in relevant fields (academic and professional development). Participants include high school teachers, research institution staff, doctors, lawyers, media personnel, corporate executives, government officials, etc. The Visiting Scholar program is the most cost-effective overseas training method for professionals.
