Following the good news that a group of long-term Worldway Group clients passed the Portuguese A2 language exam for naturalization in September, another group of Worldway clients who took the exam at the New Jersey test center in the United States this November has received a gift from Santa Claus: they all passed the Portuguese A2 naturalization language exam. One of these clients, Mr. Zhang, who processed his Portuguese Golden Residence Permit in early 2013, traveled to the United States with his wife in January of this year to visit their child attending university. Due to the pandemic and the cancellation of return flights, he contacted the Worldway Group customer service center to inquire about the Portuguese A2 exam. After the exam, Mr. Zhang felt that this study was very necessary and stated that if he had not passed this time, he would have continued to prepare for the next exam. When he received the notification that he had passed, Mr. Zhang, who had not consumed alcohol for many years, specially bought a bottle of wine to celebrate with his whole family.
For Portuguese naturalization applications, only one spouse needs to obtain the A2 certificate. Spouses and minor children can apply for naturalization as family members of an EU citizen without needing to provide an A2 certificate.
