First, change of project name
The new project adopts a completely new name — Malta Exceptional Investor Program.
Second, changes in investment requirements
1. Donation requirements
The new project has adjusted the donation amount from the original €650,000 to either a donation of €600,000 or €750,000, of which €10,000 is non-refundable as a donation deposit. An additional public donation requirement has been added, whereby applicants must donate €10,000 to a non-governmental public welfare organization.
2. Property investment requirements
The new project requires the purchase of property valued at no less than €700,000 and leasing a property with a rental of no less than €16,000, while the property must be held for at least 5 years after obtaining residency.
3. Residency requirements
According to the change in donation amounts, the donation of €600,000 requires holding a residency card for at least 3 years; the donation of €750,000 allows the residency card duration to be reduced to 1 year.
4. Quota limitations
The new project sets a clear cap on application quotas, limited to 1,500 families, with a maximum of 400 family applications accepted each year.
Third, changes in dependent applicant rules
In terms of dependent applicants, the new project has relaxed the age limits for dependent children, expanding the original age limit from under 18 years or unmarried children aged 18-26, to under 18 years or unmarried children aged 18-29 who are financially dependent.
The option to apply directly for an EU passport through the Cyprus Investment Program has been closed down, making the Malta citizenship program the only available option for direct EU passport applications in the current immigration market. However, the new Malta Exceptional Investor Program is limited to 1,500 families and has stricter investment requirements, making the pathway to obtaining an EU passport increasingly narrow for prospective investors. Among the current immigration projects launched by European countries, Montenegro’s investment citizenship project remains a convenient option for acquiring an EU passport quickly!
Currently, among the countries open for investment citizenship projects, Montenegro is one of the leading EU candidate countries in the eighth stage of the EU's enlargement plan and may join the EU by 2024. Montenegro's imminent accession to the EU is explicitly documented in the European Commission’s new strategic decision — the Western Balkans Strategy! The launch of Montenegro's investment citizenship project will pave the way for investors to obtain EU citizenship in the future. Eventually, possessing a Montenegrin passport may upgrade to an EU passport, making this project an excellent choice for investors in overseas investment, business, identity, and health planning!
Montenegro's investment citizenship project commenced on January 1, 2019, and will conclude on December 31, 2021, with a statutory limit of only 2,000 applications! Currently, with just about a year left until the statutory investment deadline for Montenegro’s investment citizenship project, the immigration market is witnessing a surge of interest in seizing the last opportunity of the Montenegro investment citizenship program. Many high-net-worth individuals with overseas asset allocation and identity planning needs from around the world are turning their attention to Montenegro. For investors, if you have missed the Cyprus EU passport program and do not wish to spend a fortune on obtaining a Maltese EU passport, then the Montenegro investment citizenship project will be a convenient way to acquire an EU passport in the future. The best time to catch the last opportunity for an EU passport is now—action taken early will yield benefits!
Significant good news! Currently, the investment citizenship projects approved by the Montenegrin government — "Elite Hotel," "Bjelašnica 1450 Hotel," and "Blaz Hotel"—are among the investment immigration projects in Europe with the shortest investment duration. There is no holding period requirement, and investors can freely resell the property after the transfer, making them highly sought after! Starting from €350,000, investors can not only acquire properties with permanent ownership but also apply for Montenegrin passports as EU candidates for the whole family, achieving a double win in overseas property and overseas identity!
The Asia Brand 500 World's Top Trade Group, as an active promoter of investment immigration in Europe, maintains long-term interaction and collaboration with the Montenegrin government, making it an excellent choice for obtaining a Montenegrin passport!
2020 is the year of health planning, where health planning precedes identity! Choose the Montenegro investment citizenship project. For details, please consult the Worldway customer service hotline: Mainland China: 400-138-2929, Hong Kong: (852) 2802 8798.
