Kadri Samsunlu, CEO of the Istanbul Airport operator, stated at the award ceremony: "Our goal is to make Chinese travelers feel 'at home' through the 'passenger-friendly' applications implemented at the airport. About 450,000 Chinese tourists visited Turkey last year. We initially expected 600,000 Chinese to travel to Turkey this year, and I believe we can achieve the goal of 1 million Chinese tourists in the future."
