Recently, the Ministry of Interior of Cyprus has made new adjustments to the Cyprus Investment Program, with the following specific changes:

2. The validity period of the criminal record certificate has been extended from 3 months to 6 months;
3. The main applicant's parents and the spouse's parents can apply for a passport as dependents together; an additional investment of €500,000 is required for each additional pair of parents (previously only the main applicant's parents could apply);
4. Political public figures can apply for a Cyprus passport 12 months after leaving public office (previously the requirement was 5 years).
Currently, the House of Representatives of Cyprus voted on July 31, 2020, to approve the new Cyprus Investment Program, which has been effective since January 31, 2020. The Cyprus passport has long been known in the immigration community as the "Hermès of passports"; it combines the benefits of Commonwealth and EU passports, and holders who meet certain conditions can achieve indirect residency in the United Kingdom. As a member of the European Union, obtaining a Cyprus passport not only allows visa-free access to over 160 countries and regions, but also enables holders to freely move, work, reside, and study in any of the 27 EU member states (including Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Finland, etc.), the 3 member states of the European Economic Area (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein), and Switzerland, totaling 31 European countries, while enjoying the generous benefits of EU citizenship in EU countries.
Meanwhile, Cyprus's accession to Schengen has received preliminary approval from the EU, making it one of the few countries that are members of the EU, Eurozone, Commonwealth, and Schengen Area, which speaks volumes about its value.
The WorldWay Group, ranked among the top 500 Asian brands, has maintained good interaction with the Cyprus government for many years. In 2011, it was one of the first to introduce the Cyprus Permanent Residency and Citizenship by Investment Program to China, starting an exciting journey of European investment immigration; in 2014, the "Paphos Night" events in Beijing and Shanghai were investment and cultural exchange activities themed around European cities.
