In the latest news, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is preparing to reopen some domestic offices on June 4th, resuming non-emergency public services, including immigration interviews and consultations, fingerprinting, InfoPass, and citizenship ceremonies, among others. Previously, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services temporarily closed all offices and suspended public window services starting March 18th, but the acceptance and processing of various immigration applications were not affected. Therefore, the acceptance and processing of I-526, I-485, and I-829 applications related to EB-5 investment immigration continued as usual during the pandemic.
In the initial phase of reopening, the immigration agency will control the number of appointments and interviews to ensure social distancing and allow sufficient time for disinfecting and cleaning the offices. Visitors who are making appointments for related services must follow safety precautions; if you feel unwell, please do not make an appointment.
Interviews and Consultations
After resuming public services, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will notify applicants who were unable to schedule appointments as planned due to the impact.
1. Applicants who scheduled through InfoPass or other appointments must reschedule through the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Contact Center. Before calling the Contact Center, applicants should verify whether the relevant office has reopened.
2. The immigration agency will automatically reschedule appointments for applicants affected by the temporary closure of the Application Support Centers (ASC), and individuals will receive a new appointment letter via email.
3. Only the applicant, one representative of the applicant, one family member, and one individual providing accommodation for persons with disabilities may attend the interview or appointment. If the applicant requires translation, translation services can only be provided via phone.
Additionally, the immigration agency will also send new notifications to naturalization applicants to reschedule delayed naturalization ceremonies; asylum applicants will also receive new interview notifications.
It is important to note that when visiting U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services offices, applicants should follow the guidelines of the immigration facilities, such as: visitors may not enter the facility more than 15 minutes before their appointment (30 minutes for naturalization ceremonies); face coverings that cover the mouth and nose must be worn when entering the facility, etc. Individuals with any COVID-19 symptoms or who have been in contact with suspected cases in the past 14 days will be prohibited from entering the immigration facilities.

The year 2020 has brought continuous surprises for EB-5 immigration visas: in March, the EB-5 priority date advanced significantly by 165 days; in May, it advanced by 47 days; and in June, it continued to advance by 14 days. This is indeed great news for investors. For investors with a rigid demand for immigration to the United States, it is advisable to secure quality projects early, prepare early, apply early, queue early, and benefit early.
The Yellowstone Club II project, as one of the few EB-5 projects on the market that comply with the new regulation of $900,000 investment, is highly favored by investors. This project combines many outstanding advantages, including dual approval from the immigration agency, exceeding employment completion, five times asset value collateral repayment, and transparent fund supervision, greatly safeguarding the interests of investors.
2020 is the year of health planning; health planning comes first. Good projects do not wait for anyone; having missed the $500,000 investment immigration opportunity to the United States, do not miss the $900,000 investment immigration opportunity again. Quality projects are rare; reservations should be made quickly. For project details, please contact: Mainland China: 400-138-2929; Hong Kong: (852) 2802 8798.
