Recently, The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) released its 2019 Global Liveability Index. In this ranking, three Canadian cities were included, with Calgary surpassing Vancouver and Toronto to become the most livable city in Canada. In fact, these three cities have consistently ranked high on the EIU's list for years.

It is worth mentioning that the top three Canadian cities all achieved perfect scores in specific categories in this evaluation: Toronto performed exceptionally well in healthcare, education, and stability, scoring a perfect 100 points; Vancouver achieved a perfect score in culture and environment; and Calgary also received a perfect score of 100 in the infrastructure category.

The report uses political and economic stability, healthcare services, culture and environment, education, and infrastructure as evaluation criteria, surveying 140 cities worldwide on a 100-point scale. In this ranking, Canada occupies three of the top ten spots, which is sufficient evidence that Canada is a suitable place to live, work, and study.
