What are the common reasons for a Malaysia visa rejection? Incomplete documentation? Insufficient salary statements? Surprisingly, the most frustrating reason for a Malaysia visa rejection is the photo! Malaysia has extremely strict requirements for visa photos; failure to meet any of these conditions will result in a rejection.
Malaysia Visa Photo Standards
1. You must provide 2 identical (exact copies) 2-inch color photos with a white background.
2. They must be professional ID photos, showing the ears (photos without visible ears are not accepted), with balanced facial proportions (heads that are too large are not accepted), and taken from a front-facing angle (profile photos are not accepted).
3. They must be clear photos printed by a professional photo studio (computer-printed or blurry photos are not accepted).
Required Visa Documents
1) A valid passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.
2) Two recent 2-inch personal ID photos (color with a white background).
3) Visa application form (completed, signed, and dated).
