Since March 3, 2019, holders of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passports may visit Armenia visa-free for a stay of up to 180 days. Holders of Armenian national passports may also visit Hong Kong visa-free for a stay of up to 30 days.
A spokesperson for the Immigration Department stated: "Panama and Armenia are countries along the 'Belt and Road'. Under the 'Belt and Road' Initiative, this mutual visa-exemption arrangement will bring greater convenience to tourists from Hong Kong, Panama, and Armenia, and will help strengthen ties in tourism, culture, and the economy."
