Although the requirements for a Canadian visa are quite strict, as long as sufficient materials are prepared and the entry and exit records are good (such as having traveled to the United States, Europe, Japan, South Korea, and other countries), single individuals with formal employment have a high success rate in obtaining a Canadian tourist visa.
Individuals with formal employment need to prepare the following materials for a tourist visa:
1. Application forms: Temporary Resident Visa Application Form (IMM5257E), Family Information Form (IMM5645E), Education and Employment Details Form.
2. Original passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining.
3. One recent photo (35X45mm, color photo with a white background taken within the last six months).
4. Photocopies of both sides of the ID card and a photocopy of the household registration book (complete book photocopy).
5. Financial proof: Provide the original bank book or original bank statement for the last six months, with a higher balance being better. The savings account should have records for over a year, and the fixed deposit should have been made at least six months prior.
6. Other financial proofs: If there are properties, cars, stocks, funds, etc., relevant documents can also be provided.
8. An original employment verification letter from the employer (stating the applicant's position, date of employment, monthly salary, and leave information, printed on company letterhead and stamped with the official seal).
9. A photocopy of the business license of the company stamped with the official seal (if the employer is a government department, public institution, or large enterprise, this may not be required).
How to apply?
1. Apply in person at the visa application center;
2. Apply online through the Canadian Immigration website;

The following materials are not mandatory but may help you obtain a visa; applicants are advised to provide them at their discretion:
1. International travel insurance policy (optional)
According to local policies, for stays in Canada of 6 months or less, a minimum medical expense reimbursement coverage of 500,000 RMB is required. Additionally, applicants aged 75 and above are strongly advised to present a policy proving that the purchased insurance is sufficient to cover health needs during their stay in Canada.
- Please purchase travel insurance through the travel insurance channel
2. Copy of planned itinerary (optional)
Please attach a bilingual itinerary (in Chinese and English) to demonstrate the applicant's travel plans to the visa officer.
3. Copy of flight reservation (optional)
Round-trip flight reservation issued by a travel agent or airline.
4. Electronic version of hotel confirmation (optional)
If you have already booked a hotel, please provide the actual booking confirmation, which must be in English and show that payment has been successfully made. The hotel booking channel at the visa center can provide hotel reservation documents for visa submission.
5. Original photos of famous tourist attractions abroad (optional)
Photos taken by the applicant at well-known tourist attractions abroad, preferably including photos with people, to help prove previous travel records.
