During this inspection, members of the Worldway delegation delved into the origins of Moldovan wine, conducting cutting-edge research on aspects ranging from grape nurseries, cultivation, and packaging to services and technical support. They also engaged in in-depth exchanges with experts in the Moldovan wine industry. While broadening their horizons, they gained a deeper understanding of the winemaking process in Moldova, resulting in a fruitful experience!
The delegation visited the MiMi Winery, the first castle-style winery in the Bessarabia region of Moldova, which was founded in 1893 and has a history spanning over 100 years! As one of the ten most beautiful wineries in Europe, MiMi Winery features a large wine museum and combines advanced winemaking technology with unique Moldovan characteristics to produce and export many high-quality wines! It is worth mentioning that, unlike the Cricova or Mileștii Mici wineries, this winery is a true French-style estate, which received unanimous praise from the members of the Worldway delegation!
Guided by the staff at the Moldovan winery, the Worldway delegation members learned in detail about the wine production process, from production to packaging, as well as professional wine storage knowledge. They gained a greater appreciation for the quality of Moldovan wine and were captivated by the extraordinary design and historical and cultural scenery of the wine cellars! While visiting the large-scale underground cellars, the delegation also tasted a variety of wines, feeling truly delighted!
