Every year on March 20th, International Day of Happiness is celebrated, and the United Nations recently released the 2019 World Happiness Report. Happily, Canada has once again been rated as one of the happiest countries in the world.
The United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) evaluates the happiness levels of countries based on indicators such as freedom, life expectancy, social support, trust and government corruption, and GDP per capita. This is the seventh annual survey report published since 2012.
On June 28, 2012, the 66th United Nations General Assembly officially declared that the pursuit of happiness is a fundamental human goal, and happiness and well-being are universal goals and expectations in human life worldwide.
