The WorldWay Group has learned that there are new changes to Grenada's investment citizenship policy! Recently, the Grenada Immigration Department held a press conference to preliminarily announce the upcoming amendments to the Grenada investment citizenship policy! This is undoubtedly great news for investors!
Latest Policy Changes in Grenada
1. The age limit of 55 for parents or grandparents has been removed, and there is no requirement for them to be financially dependent on the main applicant;
2. It is confirmed that the unmarried siblings of the main applicant and spouse can join the application;
3. There is no requirement for children aged 18-30 to be enrolled in school;
4. It is officially confirmed that after the statutory holding period of the property, the next buyer can also apply for Grenadian citizenship.
Experts from the WorldWay Group stated that it is evident that the introduction of this new policy better meets the needs of applicants and their accompanying family members, truly achieving four generations of immigration; in addition, it clarifies that second-hand buyers can also apply for investment citizenship, ensuring the continued circulation of Grenadian real estate, which greatly attracts more investors.
As is well known, with the increasing investment thresholds in some mainstream immigration countries, long processing times, huge costs, and the time-consuming nature of immigration monitoring have led the trend of investment immigration to shift towards "short, simple, and fast" immigration projects, among which Grenada stands out with its short processing time and no immigration monitoring, making it increasingly favored by investors.
Grenada's investment citizenship program allows individuals and their families to obtain citizenship and permanent residency in Grenada. Applicants can contribute at least $150,000 to the Grenada National Transformation Fund (NTF) or invest in government-approved real estate valued at no less than $350,000, allowing a family of four generations to apply for Grenadian citizenship and obtain Commonwealth citizenship.
