Recently, Ms. Tracy Sun, General Manager of WorldWay Immigration Group Beijing, was invited to attend the 2018 Sina Global Asset Allocation Summit Forum, where she participated as a guest speaker in a thematic discussion, analyzing how identity serves as a guarantee of investment products, garnering the unanimous attention of overseas investors and elites in the immigration industry present at the event.

Identity is a Guarantee of Investment Products
European immigration is very popular this year, with Greece ranking very high. The immigration index shows that European countries are currently very popular, possibly due to their relatively low thresholds, providing more people with new opportunities and chances.
Host: For light immigration applications, this policy is simpler compared to traditional countries, but each case is not simple in the hands of immigration companies. European investment immigration has many unique advantages, attracting investors to settle in. What insights does Ms. Sun have to share with us?
Ms. Sun Gelin: Nowadays, European investment immigration is regaining popularity, which I believe is closely related to the concept of light immigration. In fact, more and more investors are applying for immigration primarily to rationally allocate their assets. With the continuous promotion of the government's "Belt and Road" initiative, many large Chinese enterprises are investing in Southern Europe, indicating what?
After the European financial crisis, it has become a very suitable investment opportunity, attracting many individuals to invest. Recently, many clients choose to invest in Europe, not necessarily because they lack overseas identities; they may have already immigrated, but the more such individuals there are, the more they realize the importance of overseas identity for investment. What are many of our investors realizing now? That is: where I invest, I need to have an identity there; identity is a guarantee of investment products.
For example, when buying real estate, many countries now impose certain restrictions on overseas buyers, including Australia, Canada, and Hong Kong. I believe that in the near future, with the acceleration of economic recovery in Europe and the increasing number of individuals investing in Europe, restrictions on real estate investments in Europe, including those favored by Chinese people, may gradually be raised. So how do we protect our assets? Actually, it is through having an identity, which I believe is very important. In addition to having an identity, investment choices can also be diversified. Investors applying for immigration status, besides the primary need for investment, also want to enjoy the education, healthcare, and other benefits of the immigrant country. Therefore, I believe that the understanding of the "light immigration era" will be different from the past.
Host: Ms. Sun's insights are very comprehensive, sharing with us the situation in the European regional market. Based on your personal experience, what do you think the future investment trend in Europe will be? Is there significant room for price increases?
Ms. Sun Gelin: It is not difficult to see that in recent years, immigration policies in various countries have shown a general tightening trend. I remember that our WorldWay Group positioned 2013 as the "Year of European Immigration". That year, we also collaborated with many embassies of European countries to hold some official press conferences, introducing many European immigration projects to China. Currently, I believe we may still be in the honeymoon period, but that period may not last particularly long.
For example, Greece. Currently, the real estate immigration in Greece is quite popular because Greece is a traditional tourist country. In fact, from the perspective of international tradition, coastal areas and some well-known cities are popular investment destinations for international investors, such as Greece, including Athens and other places. These areas fit this characteristic, and we can look at the official data released by the European Central Bank, which shows that according to the real estate trend charts of various European countries, many countries have fully recovered economically after the financial crisis, or their housing prices have risen significantly. Greece is one of them, with its economic situation gradually stabilizing, regaining vitality, and beginning to develop positively, with investment potential soaring and significant investment space.
Therefore, I say that Greece's "honeymoon period" is still ongoing, but it will not be particularly long. Why? In just the past month or two, we have already seen an increasing number of people investing in Greece. Many clients even inquire about investing in Greek real estate without needing to visit Greece for inspections; they have already learned about some basic situations in Greece through various media and have locked in the areas they need to invest in, directly booking properties domestically to complete their investments.
In addition to Greece, we also have another project, which is Malta, currently offering a special deal where an investment of seventy thousand euros can grant EU identity for the entire family across four generations. Additionally, the Cyprus passport is still significant, especially in the context of Brexit, making this major passport function quite prominent and practical. Due to the increase in investors, Cyprus has already imposed limits; there are now a certain number of quotas each year, and applicants cannot exceed a certain amount, indicating that the "honeymoon period" is also nearing its end. Those who wish to apply should act quickly. These areas still offer a high cost-performance ratio for investment and are worth considering. Since there is such a market trend, there must be reasonable grounds for it; investors should not wait until policies tighten and then regret their decisions.
Every investment has a golden period. WorldWay Immigration Group has been deeply engaged in investment immigration for over 20 years, with rich experience. One rule in immigration is that when you know this information, if you do not seize the opportunity, you may truly miss it. After policies tighten, many hardware conditions may no longer be met, or you may have to pay higher costs to process related projects. Therefore, individuals interested in investment immigration must face the issue of tightening policies and make reasonable plans as early as possible.
WorldWay Immigration Group will continue to provide professional, comprehensive, and attentive services to investors, helping them to plan their personal assets' cross-border allocation early, seize important strategic opportunities for global immigration, complete asset allocation, and realize their dreams of immigrating overseas.
