Breaking News! The St. Kitts and Nevis investment immigration policy has changed! Recently, the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit announced the latest regulations: A new Sustainable Growth Fund investment option has been added; simultaneously, the real estate investment route for citizenship has been adjusted, requiring an investment of at least $200,000 in a government-approved real estate project. With the increase in investment options for St. Kitts and Nevis, the ways for investors to immigrate will become more flexible, which is bound to trigger a new wave of demand for St. Kitts and Nevis immigration. Investors interested in immigrating to St. Kitts and Nevis should act early!
The new St. Kitts and Nevis investment immigration regulations mainly include the following major changes:
I. A new Sustainable Growth Fund donation option has been added
To improve the livelihoods of St. Kitts and Nevis citizens, invest in health, education, infrastructure, heritage preservation, and resident entrepreneurship, and promote the development of the tourism industry, following the closure of the St. Kitts and Nevis Hurricane Relief Fund (March 31, 2018), the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Unit has launched the Sustainable Growth Fund, effective April 5, 2018.
1. Sustainable Growth Fund donation option: Applicants only need to invest at least $150,000 into the Sustainable Growth Fund;
Single applicant: 150,000 USD
Spouse: 25,000 USD
Other eligible dependents: 10,000 USD
When applying as a family, the investment amount varies based on the total number of people: Main applicant + spouse: $175,000; Family of three (main applicant + spouse + 1 eligible dependent): donation amount is $185,000; Family of four (main applicant + spouse + 2 eligible dependents): donation amount is $195,000.
2. The original Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation donation option is retained, meaning applicants invest at least $250,000 into the Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation; when applying as a family, the investment amount varies based on the total number of applicants: 2-4 people: $300,000; for those exceeding this range: $25,000/person.
II. Real estate investment methods have been changed to two options:
1. The original real estate investment method is retained, meaning applicants invest at least $400,000 in real estate to obtain independent title and hold it for 5 years; after 5 years, the property can be resold while retaining citizenship status;
2. A new real estate investment method has been added, where applicants invest at least $200,000 in a government-designated real estate project to obtain shared ownership, which can be sold after holding for 7 years, without affecting the already obtained citizenship status.
It is particularly worth noting that for the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Program, in addition to the real estate investment and donation methods, there is another currently popular financing method that saves capital, allows for a quick application for a St. Kitts and Nevis Commonwealth passport for four generations of the family, and enables immigration to St. Kitts and Nevis, meeting various needs such as children's education planning, global asset allocation, tax planning, and global travel convenience in one go. It is worth mentioning that the St. Kitts and Nevis financing project has limited quotas, available on a first-come, first-served basis!
