On March 15, 2018, the second round of selection was conducted under the EOI selection system for entrepreneur immigration in Prince Edward Island, Canada. The minimum score for this selection was 135, the maximum score was 142, and the number of selected candidates was 7, which is the same as the first selection, indicating a limited number of selections.
Since the announcement of the new EOI policy by Prince Edward Island at the end of last year, this is the second selection. The immigration office is likely still in the familiarization phase with the new policy. We anticipate that in order to fully utilize the annual quota, the immigration office may significantly increase the number of selections and lower the selection scores starting from the next selection.

EOI Scoring Selection
The EOI selection system in Prince Edward Island comprehensively scores applicants based on their business management experience, age, language proficiency, education, and other factors. The provincial immigration office regularly selects the applicants it needs from the system, usually based on the EOI scores, with a total score of 200 points (or 210 points if including second language scores).
It is worth noting that applicants can also receive additional points for community endorsement. By visiting and engaging in face-to-face discussions with the community designated by the immigration office regarding their investment plans, applicants can earn up to 35 points in EOI additional points, with the community endorsement valid for one year.
