According to data from the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI), unless there are "some unexpected major shocks or a significant increase in housing supply," housing prices in Ireland will continue to rise, and over the next three years, prices will increase by at least 20%. The authors of the report indicate that actual prices may rise even faster and point out that the continuous increase in housing prices in Ireland is primarily based on four major reasons: a significant decrease in the unemployment rate, historically low loan interest rates, an increase in foreign immigration, and a shortage of housing supply.
In addition to the continuous rise in housing prices, in recent months, Irish consumers have spent more than two percent more on daily necessities compared to the same period last year. This marks the seventh consecutive quarter of increase. Survey research shows that personal financial enthusiasm has risen by 52% compared to previous years. The rapid rise in the Irish Consumer Confidence Index has also created a favorable trend for those immigrating to Ireland in terms of investment and employment.
Ireland is a Western European country, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Irish Sea to the east, facing the United Kingdom across the sea. Ireland serves as a gateway from North America to Europe. In recent years, it has become increasingly popular among global investors due to its numerous advantages.
Economy
Ireland is one of the best countries for business. It has a competitive low tax policy, the lowest corporate income tax rate in Europe (only 12.5%), and has signed agreements with over 70 countries to avoid double taxation, with no global taxation.
Education
Ireland is home to a number of internationally renowned higher education institutions. Additionally, children in Ireland receive free education up to and including high school (under 18 years old). Ireland is also the only country in the Eurozone where English is the native language, providing a natural linguistic advantage.
Social Welfare
Ireland's high welfare system covers all aspects, including child benefits, maternity benefits, paternity leave, unemployment benefits, and retirement pensions, ensuring lifelong welfare protection for all citizens.
Due to its advantages as a tax haven and a hub for top global companies, Ireland has sparked a new wave of interest among investment immigrants. Once successful in relocating, individuals can enjoy the benefits of Ireland and the European Union with their entire family. Currently, investors only need to invest €1 million in government-designated enterprise projects in Ireland to apply for residency for the whole family. After meeting certain residency conditions, they can apply for an Irish passport, immigrate to Ireland, and enjoy a high-quality life.
