The official website of Saskatchewan states that the Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program has added a third-party background check process, requiring applicants to undergo an evaluation by a third-party organization during the application process. The Saskatchewan Immigration Office will only proceed with further review of the applicant's Saskatchewan application after receiving a qualified report from the third-party organization. In the 2017-2018 fiscal year, Saskatchewan Entrepreneur Immigration will select qualified candidates through EOI on July 19, 2017, October 18, 2017, and January 17, 2018.
