Canada's education quality is recognized worldwide, and students from many countries choose to study in Canada. Some families even immigrate to Canada to ensure their children can enjoy the top-tier education from an early age. In 2017, Canada introduced numerous favorable immigration policies and measures. The Canadian Minister of Immigration disclosed that the immigration quota for 2018 would be increased, and new immigrants will continue to be an important component of the country's economy. Canada is making great efforts to retain high-net-worth individuals and highly educated populations, and the country's beautiful scenery, great living environment, comprehensive medical services, and multicultural society attract many immigrant students. Whether for immigration or study, Canada is an excellent choice!
It should be noted that many medical programs in Canadian schools do not admit international students, and the few schools that do have very limited spots with high requirements. Since medical programs are classified as regulated programs, the cost of training a medical student can exceed hundreds of thousands to millions of Canadian dollars. Therefore, having Canadian citizenship provides a significant advantage for applying to medical programs.
