As is well known, many Canadian immigration programs have educational requirements for applicants. Does the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program have any such requirements for applicants?
The Quebec Immigrant Investor Program has no restrictions on an applicant's education, language proficiency, or age, and there is no requirement to submit a business plan. As long as you possess a net worth of 1.6 million CAD and have two years of management experience, you are eligible to apply for the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program.
In the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program, the investor's obligation is limited to making the investment; there is no obligation to establish or operate a business in Quebec. The investment is made only after the interview is passed and is guaranteed by the Canadian government. The investment amount is fully refunded after five years, making it a business immigration category with virtually no risk.
Application requirements for the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program:
1. The applicant must possess a legally acquired net worth of 1.6 million CAD, including personal assets (e.g., bank deposits, real estate, stocks, bonds, investment insurance, etc.) and company assets (e.g., company investments, current company assets, etc.). These assets may be acquired by the applicant or their spouse; funds acquired through donations within the six months prior to submitting the application cannot be included in the net worth.
2. At least two years of management experience in a legitimate business (including agricultural, commercial, or industrial) within the past five years.
3. Make an investment of 800,000 CAD for a five-year term, during which the investment cannot be withdrawn. The 800,000 CAD will be returned after five years (the applicant must sign an investment contract with a broker or trust institution authorized by Quebec).
4. Good health.
5. No criminal record.
