Immigration through property purchase is one of the options chosen by many immigrants, and many countries have currently introduced policies for property-based immigration. So, is it possible to immigrate to Canada by buying a property?
In fact, Canada does not currently have a property-based immigration program, but it is possible to immigrate to Canada through investment immigration. Canadian investment immigration requires funds to be placed under the jurisdiction of a fund designated by the Canadian government; applicants do not have the right to control how the funds are invested. Therefore, purchasing property in Canada does not meet the requirements of the Canadian government's investment immigration program, and to date, the Canadian government has not opened any such policy. For those who want to buy a house in Canada, it is best to immigrate to Canada first and then purchase property, which will be much more convenient.
