o The average processing time for I-526 approvals: Approximately 19 months;
o The average processing time for I-829 approvals: Approximately 29 months;
o The average processing time for I-924 approvals: Approximately 18 months;
The WorldWay Immigration Group would like to remind investors that due to the specific circumstances of individual applications, the above processing times are average times, and generally speaking, exceeding this progress is also considered normal.
Average case processing time trend over the past year:
Although the latest EB-5 cases are progressing slowly overall, the average processing times for EB-5 cases over the past year show a general upward trend, and the backlog remains severe.
However, it is encouraging that a new proposal to resolve the backlog has been introduced. If it can indeed change the 10,000 applications to 10,000 families, then the backlog issue troubling investors may be completely resolved. Additionally, there is another exciting piece of news: if investors can indeed submit their I-829 within two years, it also means that the time for investors to obtain permanent green cards may be shortened.
The United States is the world's leading destination for investment, attracting the most investments from around the globe. Currently, with tax cuts from Trump, a stable U.S. dollar exchange rate, and a pessimistic outlook for the Chinese yuan, global asset allocation is urgent. The $500,000 investment for immigration to the United States has been extended, and the EB-5 program is expected to surge by $3 million in 2018. Now is the best time to seize the last opportunity for low-cost investment immigration to the United States.
