The quota for the 2017 Quebec Immigrant Investor Program has just opened. Clients interested in immigrating to Canada should seize the opportunity to secure their spots. The documents required for the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program can be categorized into the following four types:
1. Personal and Family Documents
These include passports, household registers (hukou), marriage certificates, children's birth certificates, and highest academic degree certificates. Through such documents, immigration officers can gain a detailed understanding of the applicant's family size and the relationships between family members. These are the most fundamental and essential documents.
2. Applicant's Asset Documents
These include bank deposits, real estate, and proof of personal assets within a company. Immigration officers will review whether these assets meet the standard of 1.6 million Canadian dollars (for the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program). When submitting real estate documents, applicants must provide the original purchase invoices, deed tax certificates, and appraisal reports. Immigration officers do not consider the original purchase price but only the current market value of the property (the applicant must provide proof of the source of funds for the initial property purchase).
3. Documentation of the Source of Assets
Business licenses can prove that the applicant's personal income is derived from a legitimate commercial enterprise, and employment contracts verify the legal employment relationship between the applicant and the company. If the applicant is a shareholder, a capital verification report must be provided to prove the legality of the income. Furthermore, statements for wages, bonuses, dividends, and personal income tax records serve as proof of personal income.
4. Documentation of Management Experience
The documents provided must demonstrate that the applicant holds actual decision-making authority at a management level, such as employee employment contracts signed on behalf of the company, employee expense reimbursement applications signed by the applicant, and supply/purchase contracts signed with vendors.
The documents listed above are critical factors in determining the success of your immigration application.
