The global economy has been hit with another bombshell! Trump has introduced the most significant U.S. tax reform proposal since 1986, and one of the largest tax cut plans in American history. Based on current disclosures, the Trump tax cut plan primarily includes the following:
1. Personal income tax brackets simplified from 7 to 3: 10%, 25%, and 35%;
2. The standard deduction for individuals has nearly doubled. Moving forward, the tax-free threshold for a married couple will rise to $24,000;
3. Families with children and those caring for dependents will receive tax benefits;
4. Elimination of targeted tax benefits that primarily benefit wealthy taxpayers;
5. Repeal of the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) system;
6. Repeal of the estate tax;
7. Repeal of the 3.8% ObamaCare tax that affects small businesses and investment income;
8. Corporate tax rate reduced from 35% or higher to 15%;
9. Implementation of a fair territorial tax system for U.S. companies;
10. A one-time tax will be levied on the trillions of dollars in earnings held overseas by U.S. companies.
Trump's tax cuts have sparked heated debate in the global economy and investment markets. Following these tax cuts, what changes will occur in U.S. immigration tax planning? Are these tax cuts a blessing or a disaster for businesses? Can Trump's tax cuts succeed in rebuilding the American Dream? Who will benefit the most from this tax reform? After such significant tax cuts, how will the Trump administration support its massive budget expenditures? Can Trump have the last laugh this time?
With these questions in mind, Worldway Group is hosting a "U.S. Tax Cut Storm and Investment Immigration Policy Interpretation Seminar" this weekend.
