In the early hours of May 1st, Washington D.C. local time, the House Appropriations Committee officially introduced the Omnibus Appropriations bill for the 2017 fiscal year. According to U.S. media projections, both the House and Senate are expected to vote on the bill around this Wednesday. If all goes as expected, the U.S. federal government budget will be extended to the end of the 2017 fiscal year, which is September 30, 2017. Page 47 of the bill includes the U.S. EB-5 Immigrant Investor Regional Center Program, which will extend the Regional Center Program unchanged until September 30 of this year.
