Although the policy threshold for this Quebec Immigrant Investor Program remains unchanged, applicants should pay close attention to two major changes that have emerged this year:


First, the interview location for 2017 has changed. The new round of interviews will commence in the second quarter of 2017 and will be held in Montreal, Canada, while all interviews in Hong Kong, China, will be cancelled.


Second, application fees for 2017 have increased. The Quebec Immigration Bureau announced that the adjusted visa application fees would officially take effect on January 1, 2017. Among them, the application fee for the Immigrant Investor Program has been increased to 15,111 CAD, an increase of 111 CAD from last year.
