According to the Embassy of Portugal in China, the annual Portugal International Tourism Fair was held from March 15 to 19 at the International Exhibition Center in Lisbon.
Doubling Tourism Revenue in the Next 10 Years
Portuguese Minister of Economy Manuel Caldeira Cabral attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition on the 15th and revealed Portugal's tourism development plan and goals for the next 10 years. He stated that among the Portuguese government's development plans for the next decade, one of the tourism development goals for 2027 is to double Portugal's tourism revenue from the current 12.7 billion euros to 26 billion euros.
Booming Tourism, Steady Economic Growth, and Rising Property Prices
The booming tourism industry in Portugal has not only driven the country's economic development but will also cause property prices in Portugal to rise with even greater momentum. This is bound to attract the attention of a large number of international investors, making it a popular destination for high-net-worth individuals for investment immigration.
Therefore, for those interested in investment immigration, Portugal is a country worth investing in. The growth of the Portuguese economy will also comprehensively drive the development of various industries in Portugal, offering huge investment potential. Coupled with the many favorable policies introduced by Portugal in 2017, which have further improved immigration benefits in areas such as taxation, retirement, and education, Portugal's investment immigration program has become more competitive in the international market.
Currently, investors only need to purchase real estate worth 500,000 euros or more to obtain Golden Residence status for the whole family in one go, enjoying the same benefits as Portuguese citizens in terms of healthcare and education. Children can also enjoy most-favored-nation treatment when applying to universities across EU countries. For more immigration information, please call: 400-138-2929.
