The long-awaited direct flight route from Lisbon, Portugal to Beijing, with a final destination in Hangzhou, will officially open on July 6, 2017. This is truly exciting news!
According to the airline, the first direct flight will depart from Lisbon Airport T1 on July 6, 2017, flying directly to Beijing Capital International Airport. The flight time is approximately 11 hours, and after a one-hour stopover in Beijing, it will continue to Hangzhou. Passengers whose final destination is Hangzhou can check their luggage directly from Lisbon to Hangzhou. Currently, the Portuguese travel agency is already accepting ticket inquiries.
This flight will operate three times a week, with departures from Lisbon on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The route will be serviced by an Airbus A330-200, a modern aircraft that offers passengers an extremely comfortable cabin. The in-flight entertainment system is also of high quality, featuring AVOD service throughout the cabin, multiple popular TV shows and movies, 3D games, and a wide selection of beautiful music, ensuring a delightful experience even during long flights.
In 1999, TAP Portugal had opened a route from Lisbon to Macau, but it was soon discontinued due to low passenger numbers and high costs associated with intercontinental long-haul flights. This time, Capital Airlines has strongly launched the direct flight between China and Portugal, which not only indicates the increasingly close ties between China and Portugal but also showcases China's growing economic strength. It also realizes resource-sharing cooperation between Capital Airlines and TAP Portugal.
In recent years, Chinese investors have significantly increased their investments in the Portuguese market, such as Fosun Group's acquisition of Banco Comercial Português (BCP) and Huawei's establishment of an innovation research center in Lisbon, Portugal. In addition to the capital influx from Chinese enterprises into Portugal, Chinese investors have shown a particular preference for Portuguese real estate. According to statistics from January 2017 on Portugal's Golden Residence Permit, Chinese investors continue to hold the top position in Portugal's investment immigration rankings!
The direct flight between China and Portugal will greatly facilitate immigration and investment for individuals, significantly reducing travel time and eliminating the previous hassle and fatigue of layovers. It will also make it easier for investors to establish a second home in Portugal, shortening the distance to an international lifestyle. Now, through the Golden Residence Permit policy, immigrating to Portugal only requires an investment in real estate or agricultural property worth over €500,000, allowing the entire family to obtain Golden Residence status at once, enjoying the same welfare benefits in healthcare and education as Portuguese citizens. Children applying to universities in various EU countries can also benefit from the most-favored-nation treatment within the EU. For more immigration information, please call: 400-138-2929.
