Recently, Arton Capital, a Canadian financial advisory firm, announced the 2017 "Passport Index", with the Portugal passport ranked fourth globally.

According to information from the Canadian office of Worldway Immigration Group, Arton Capital released the "World's Most Powerful Passport Ranking", citing the visa-free entry status of various countries' passports to compare which country's passport is the most useful.

The "Passport Power Ranking" is based on the number of countries that passport holders can enter without prior visa application or can obtain a visa on arrival.

According to the "Passport Power Ranking", Germany has surpassed the United States and the United Kingdom from last year, ranking first with access to 157 countries without prior visa application; Singapore and Sweden share the second place with 156; the United States, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Finland, France, Spain, Switzerland, and Norway rank third with 155.

Portugal, along with Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Luxembourg, and Japan, ranks fourth. Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and Malaysia follow Portugal, ranking fifth.

Holding a Portugal passport means you can embark on spontaneous trips at will. In recent years, as the investment awareness among citizens has strengthened, investment immigration has become a trend, and Portugal, with its lenient immigration policies, has become a new favorite for investment immigration, attracting significant attention from investors.

Portugal's Golden Residence Permit Program is the most lenient method to obtain residency and fast-track citizenship in history. Investors only need to purchase real estate or agricultural land worth over €500,000 in Portugal, and as long as they legally hold the "Golden Residence" visa for 6 years, they can apply for Portuguese citizenship and obtain Portuguese passports for the entire family, enjoying the benefits of Portuguese citizenship. Furthermore, as a member of the European Union, holding a Portugal passport allows for the same rights as EU citizens, including the freedom to reside, work, and live in other EU countries. It is indeed one of the most cost-effective immigration countries. For more information on immigration to Portugal, please call: 400-138-2929.
