Client Background:

Mr. and Mrs. T are both elite professionals in the Shanghai financial sector. Aspiring to the freedom, innovation, and integration of the United States, they had been following U.S. investment immigration for many years. Ultimately, through a referral from an existing Worldway Group client, they began their immigration application in June 2013.

Client Challenges:

The clients owned several companies both domestically and abroad. Their family assets were primarily held in U.S. dollar foreign exchange, and while they owned several properties, these were difficult to liquidate or mortgage. Given the operational status of their domestic companies, the clients preferred to use dividends from Mrs. T's offshore company for their investment strategy. These dividends originated from mergers and acquisitions between the parent company, subsidiaries, and a third offshore entity. While this case differed from typical offshore company earnings, it was the optimal solution in terms of both the legitimacy of the source of funds and the completeness of the documentation.

In August of the same year, the case was submitted to the immigration authorities. Without any requests for additional evidence, the application was successfully approved in September 2014. In April 2015, they passed their consular interview and received their Green Cards.

Reflecting on the process of finalizing the strategy with the clients, the Worldway Group team has always adhered to the principle of minimizing EB-5 processing costs for clients while ensuring a 100% approval rate. By providing the clearest and most concise explanations to safeguard the clients' best interests, we have earned their utmost trust and the best reputation in the industry.
