Worldway Immigration Group brings you the latest news on US investment immigration! Recently, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) released the average EB-5 processing times as of February 29, 2016, on its official website. The overall average schedule is as follows:
Average I-526 processing time continues to slow: from the previous 16.3 months to 16.6 months;
Average I-829 processing time continues to slow: from the previous 16.9 months to 17.5 months;
Average I-924 processing time continues to slow: from the previous 9 months to 9.3 months.
[Worldway Interpretation] The processing progress has slowed significantly across the board for several consecutive months, and the backlog is severe. Coupled with the impending "September 30th policy change and price increase" for US investment immigration, and potential major reforms to TEA, global asset allocation is urgent. EB-5 investors must act quickly to submit their applications, accelerate their immigration process, and invest rapidly in high-quality, low-risk EB-5 projects near major metropolitan areas that have already been approved and are unaffected by TEA reforms. Only by successfully submitting applications and completing investments before September 30th of this year can investors maximize their chances of locking in the $500,000 price for US investment immigration.
Worldway Immigration Group's four best-selling high-quality EB-5 projects—the DLJ Four Seasons Hotel Resort project (a project where investors have successfully been approved and repayment is made by a large real estate fund), the 90 Columbus Apartment project (a rare, already-approved concept apartment project in Manhattan, New York), and the Nevada Solar Power project (a high-employment project guaranteed by a large publicly listed parent company in New York)—all possess numerous advantages, including strong developer backing, sufficient job creation, low investment and repayment risk, and sound exit mechanisms.
