Stay informed about the latest industry trends in U.S. immigration. On January 21, the U.S. Department of State and the Department of Homeland Security jointly announced the implementation of new regulations for the Visa Waiver Program (VWP).
Under the new regulations, nationals of countries eligible for the "Visa Waiver Program" who also hold nationality of Iran, Iraq, Sudan, or Syria will no longer be eligible to enter the United States under the automatic Visa Waiver Program. Furthermore, those who are not dual nationals but are Visa Waiver Program participants are also ineligible for visa-free entry if they have traveled to or stayed in Iran, Iraq, Sudan, or Syria on or after March 1, 2011.
Individuals in the two categories mentioned above who wish to enter the United States must apply for a visa through the regular immigration process at a U.S. embassy or consulate. This means that these individuals will be subject to vetting and required to undergo an in-person interview with a U.S. consular officer abroad.
Currently, 38 countries, including Portugal, France, Belgium, Germany, and Japan, participate in the VWP. According to relevant regulations, eligible travelers are not required to apply for a U.S. visa if they fill out the ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) online in advance; approximately 20 million people enter the United States annually using this method.
With the current appreciation of the U.S. dollar and the new era of Chinese capital going global, global asset allocation has become a consensus among high-net-worth individuals to diversify investment risks. The U.S. EB-5 investment immigration program can not only help obtain a U.S. Green Card, which holds high international value, but also act as a hedge against the risk of RMB depreciation.
WorldWay has specially launched the EB-5 projects—the DLJ Four Seasons Resort project and the 90 Columbus Apartment project. Both projects offer numerous advantages, including strong developer backing, sufficient job creation, low investment and repayment risks, and robust exit mechanisms, making them the smart choice for those looking to seize low-cost investment immigration opportunities in the United States.
Additionally, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of WorldWay’s U.S. investment immigration services in 2016 and to show our appreciation to our investors, we are offering thousands of service fee vouchers worth 10,000 RMB. Investors can use these vouchers to deduct 10,000 RMB from their immigration service fees. For detailed inquiries, please call our hotline: 400-138-2929
