Manitoba is one of the relatively easier provinces to immigrate to in Canada
In August 2013, Manitoba implemented the new EOI (Expression of Interest) policy, prioritizing the processing of old cases. On February 4, 2015, it began fully accepting new EOI applicants, making it currently one of the fastest and relatively easier provinces to immigrate to in all of Canada.
Regarding the business immigration category, according to data from the official Manitoba Immigration website, as of September 29, 2015, the Manitoba Immigration office had issued 220 LAAs (Letters of Advice to Apply for the Manitoba Business Immigration Program) globally. Looking at historical data from the past three years, Manitoba has cleared the backlog of old cases that had accumulated over three years. In 2014, it issued a batch of LAAs to applicants every two weeks, and in 2015, it is currently accelerating the issuance to 10 LAAs per week, allowing applicants to quickly obtain a Manitoba Provincial Nomination Certificate.
