According to information provided by the Hong Kong Immigration Department, the average processing time for new applications submitted from October to November 2013 under the Capital Investment Entrant Scheme is currently being reviewed, with some new applications submitted in December 2013 also under review, depending on the approval speed of individual officers.
Since the Capital Investment Entrant Scheme ceased accepting new applications, the number of reviewing officers has decreased, resulting in an overall extension of the approval time. It is reported that the Immigration Department has recently increased the number of reviewing officers in response to requests, and it is believed that the approval speed will gradually improve. Applicants are requested to be patient.
According to the latest selection results of the Quality Migrant Admission Scheme, the Hong Kong Immigration Department is still processing new applications submitted in 2014 and early 2015.
WorldWay Immigration will keep the Hong Kong Immigration Department informed of the latest approval progress regarding the above applications.
