Immigrate to Ireland Focus on Ireland's Immigration Economy: CCB Financial Leasing Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as "CCB Leasing"), a subsidiary of China Construction Bank, held an opening ceremony for its Irish subsidiary in Dublin on the 16th. This is the first overseas subsidiary established by CCB Leasing, which will conduct aircraft leasing business in Ireland, a global hub for the aircraft leasing industry.
CCB Chairman Wang Hongzhang stated at the opening ceremony that establishing a CCB Leasing subsidiary in Ireland to conduct cross-border aircraft and other equipment leasing business is a necessity for CCB Leasing to explore international markets, and is also an integral part of the CCB Group's comprehensive operation and international transformation strategy.
Wang Hongzhang said that as a global center for the aircraft leasing industry, Ireland not only has a favorable tax environment but also possesses a large number of well-educated international professionals with expertise in all aspects of aircraft leasing, which can serve as an ideal springboard for CCB Leasing to expand into European, African, and American leasing markets.
Xu Jianguo, Chinese Ambassador to Ireland, Gerald Nash, Minister of State at the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation of Ireland, Martin Shanahan, CEO of IDA Ireland, and more than 100 guests from various sectors in Ireland attended the opening ceremony.
In recent years, the Irish government has successively introduced a number of preferential policies and measures, which have greatly promoted the development of local aircraft leasing business. The world's top 10 aircraft leasing companies have all established headquarters, regional centers, or operational centers in Ireland. Before CCB entered Ireland, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), Bank of Communications, and China Development Bank had already established subsidiaries in Ireland to conduct aircraft leasing business.
